What to do with my two Marks

Well I've pumped as much as 19.5 gallons into my car.

Either my tank has "swolled" (is that a word)or the gas stations are raping us with their "uncalibrated" pumps.

just a .1 gallon error on the pump is a whole gallon when you pump 10 gallons, at 18 gallons they have stolen 1.8 gallons..

which is probably why I can pump 18-19 gallons of gas into my car.. and that is not being "towed" to the station because I ran out of gas..

I know.. I know.. I'm "not supposed" to "top off my tank".. I know, but I do anyways.
*sticks out tounge*
HAHA

Lol! He said "swolled"(Your search - swolled - did not match any documents.) haha!

Well...while overfilling is BAD, its toooooo late to go back now. It will take months, if not years to get that charcoal canister to "naturally" dry out, so heck....keep topn her off! Hehe!

HAHA
I wonder if my additional volume isn't THE charcoal cannister!

I wonder if it'll hold a gallon?
*LMAO*

Hey, if that was the case.. wouldn't I be getting an EVAP DTC?
(just curious)because the only DTC I get is insufficent EGR flow and when I instrument the EGR it stays at .08 volts.

I replaced the EGR valve, and tube.. but not the DPFE module..
which is the part that's chunking the DTC code.

EGR flow is usually that stupid flow sensor, expecially if you know the egr is working. I don't remember what DPFE stands for, but its the Silver sensor with two high temp vacuum lines coming off of it that attach to the EGR tube, correct? If so....thats your problem :)

On OBD 2 systems a "flooded" canister(or any other evap canister/hose) would definitally throw a light, but not on an OBD1 car.

Yes....it could/should very well hold a gallon, maybe more! LOL!

Ford uses a Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) sensor on vehicles to measure EGR flow.

yea it's that little silver square thing with the two vacuum lines attached.
My problem is EITHER the DPFE or a clogged orfice at the TB connection.
Either way.. you are correct

as for the carcoal cannister... WOOT 1 gallon reserve tank!
HAHA
