I sometimes have that problem. This morning it was -4 without windchill. The car was in the garage so no freezing this time, but man she felt "stiff" when first driving even after a little warm up time.
Yes, it's been in the single digits a lot here lateley and the whole car (red ) feels stiff. I forgot to mention the shock absorbers were frozen too.
I usually use a blow drier to thaw out the doors but it was too windy for that. I had to use a spoon wrapped in a rag to pry it open.
Wind chill doesn't affect cars. It's just about our skin. I agree with a local weatherman, Sonny Elliot, that wind chill is just a bunch of hype. For us to really feel that cold, we'd have to be standing outside naked.
If I could bring myself to kick even one of those old convertibles out of the garage (which I can't ) I'd put the green Mark in there. The red Mark would still be left out in the cold.:frown:
I've got one fatality from the freeze up. My power antenna won't go all the way down now. I should have unplugged it.:frown:
