2009 Pontiac G8

I would be suprised if it were NOT a 6 speed.
To my (limited) knowledge, I don't believe they come any other way.
I'd be interested myself if it were black.
That is a pretty good buy IMHO. The cars were originally to come in under 30k, but when I checked with a local dealer, he had one at ~ 35K and this was at end of model year, and production.
Let us know after you look at it.

6 cylinder and 6.0 liter GT models are automatic only.

So that dealer's price isn't bad at all..

All 2009's ARE six speeds; GXP's were AVAILABLE with the six speed manual, all others in 2009 are six speed automatics.
Just a matter of nomenclature!

why buy a "sports car" and have it be an automatic. Thats like an automatic corvette, it just doesn't make any sense to me.

Let me think!, and this relates to my personal tastes and preferences:
A) A wife that prefers an automatic in her car.
B) It may be a generation thing, but, for me, a four door, two ton SEDAN, no matter how performance oriented, is NOT a "sports car".
C) I no longer prefer to "row" a manual in Houston traffic.
D) Resale generally suffers with a manual, and,
E) I personally am more consistent with an automatic.
Again, this all relates to MY choices; obviously Pontiac felt there was a market for the clutch, or they would not have committed to import it.
Yes, my 3200 lb. Vette was an automatic by choice; my 2800 lb. SVO is a five, soon to be six, speed manual.
