Birds in Moose's engine

Well not really but a lot of "chirping." When the engine is cold I hear a chirping sound, seems to be centered around the idler pulley. When hot it goes away. Garage says it's the idler pulley and the tensioner. I think it may be just the pulley. Anyone run across this before? Belt has less than 2K on it.

Yes, Leo, my '97 did it too....don't spend all the $ I did, just go ahead and buy the idler with the pully on and save the time/money.

Thanks guys, I figured that's all it is. Easy fix, I'll take care of it tomorrow myself.

If you don't get rid of the chirping birds you will soon have squealing pigs. :D

After that comes silence, but it won't run long. ;)
