Is it possible to change the bulb(s) in the cruise switches?

The on/off side is out.

Thanks!

What years had lighted cruise control switches?

All years had lighted cruise switches. I have seen used switches for sale hare and other places, but have never seen a bulb for those switches for sale. The bulbs are hard wired to a circut board.

I know my 94 didn't...

I'm not sure about 95 and 96.

Ok, I may have to radio shack it...
how do they come off, any tips there?

We are talking about the ones on the steering wheel right? Cuz mine definitely do not light up... Never have since ive owned the car. Of course my trunk light doesnt work either and its not the buld.

I KNOW my '93 doesn't have lighted cruise control switches and I don't believe the '96 does either, but I could be mistaken on that one.

Let me peek in the manual...

According to the EVTM, the '93-'94 models do NOT have illuminated speed control switches, but the '95-'96 models does have illuminated speed control switches.

My left ones are out too. Can I join the club?:D

As far as I know, the first gen's don't light up.

I did have to replace the cruise switch in my red Mark when I bought it. You have to remove the air bag to remove it. Of course, you have to remove a battery cable and wait a while before removing the air bag, or you might get a BOOM!:)

Count me in the club too, my ON/OFF have been out for a year. Now those of us with ON/OFF out are we superior to those lowly creatures who have the SET/RESUME switches on the right side out? Do we even admit them into our club? I think we should also have preferred parking at Carlisle.

i can solve all your problems i have the little pc boards that are under the on/off cover. its a tiny board with a tiny bulb, i just replaced the on/off in my 97. switches were lit in 95-98. i can even take a video on how to change it, its easy simple snap off the cover, remove the pc board and one plug. i'm willing to break up some good cruise switches, but i have to see how many i have before i say i can help all of you, by the looks of it, 3 of you so far need them. i'll check after work tomorrow, if you want to try radio shack and soldering a new bulb in go for it but i'll bet you wreck the pc board lol, it is very tiny! i have had to do this in my white 98, my black 98, and my black 97. common!

I didn't know the 95 and 96 had the lights.
