I've said goodbye to my days of working ramp in Godaweful weather at Airborne Express. Nothing feels better than being away from that hell-hole. I picked up a job at a tire place here in town, easy job easy money, and hopefully some hefty discounts on new wheels and tires. :) The only down side is I have to work open to close 6 days a week. 7:30 to 6 everyday. But overtime ought to be nice, and it's good experience working with cars all day. The place i work also does tires for farm vehicles. Those are some HUGE tires. Bigfoot sized and up. pretty neat stuff.

Take all the training they'll give you - even though it adds to the week. You'll be surprised how fast you rise through the ranks.

Also - avoid the complainers - they love friends but will ruin your great enthusiasm.

Hey dj,

I second what Sandy just posted. Liz and I have been praying for you since you posted you quit your job a couple of months ago. Show them you have the stuff and do whatever it takes to do the job and then some. You'll go far with a great attitude and let your light shine.

Yes I did. They said he will be out for 10-14 days. Will miss one or two games. D'backs have the pitchers, but they need to get the run production instead of onesy, twosy. They've won 3 out of the last 4 games. Maybe that's a start of something.
