Sandy, what color is this '93?

The place I found it shows it to be a light Mauve. The photo is probably too small, but maybe you can still tell.

I have the books on the 93 and 94 colors, and that doesn't show up in either. Sure it's not another year or a custom job?

Well wait a sec, it could be the Rose mist metallic from 94, that's the only thing close.

It's a 1994 in color code "GJ" ~~ " Amethyst " EXCEPTIONALLY RARE !

That's what I thought, but the VIN has a 'P' for '93. It also has chrome 20-spoke directionals. Could it be a late '93 with this color as a 'trial balloon'?

MY money's on REPAINT if it has a "P" for the year. Be REAL interesting to view the driver's door tag and see the code under PAINT

My 94 book'ss color sample of ameythist looks nothing like that, might be the light though....

No, Rose Mist was dark! Think 85% burgundy & 15% rose-pink - much darker than that photo.

The color sample is smaller than the car, so it looks lighter, but in the mass of the car, it takes on a darker tone. I am pretty dure it's Amethyst. (OR a repaint....)
