Please tell me how this type of parisite sleeps at night!
There is this couple that live a few miles from us, down in Cody.
He is my age she a few years younger. They had lived and worked as anyone else for many years.
He cannot read or write, she has a thrid grade education. He was a heavy equipment mechanic, she a waitress. They lived in a small trailer, and worked hard, paid their bills, and were good folks.
Then one day the Union came to town and tried to
move in on the ranchers etc. This wont work here in Cody, so they pulled out. However the union rep had become friends with this fella, he to the rep fishing a couple of times and got an elk for him, etc.
About this time there was a job opening at the post office, and the rep talked this man into applying for it.
(now remember he cant read or write)
Of course he was unable to qualify for the job(even with an oral examation), and they hired they hired the best qualified.
Now here he comes with the old union rep, and they file an appeal and go all the way to the toip (whereever that is) with it. Yeah, you guessed it he was awarded the job.
Now is wife at the union rep's advice went to the county, state, and Uncle Sam, and through various grants, programs, etc, she received several fully paid schools, along with transportation costs and pin money. We also paid for about 20K wrth of dental work
"to make her more marketable". Well the funding finally run down to a trickle after about four and one half years, and she was asked to "go get a job".
The next day He faked a heart attack, got a Doctor up in Billings Montana to verify everything, and went on permanent disability with full medical, dental, and eye care for the rest of his life.
Oh just about 6 months prior to the heart attack, they got some kind of Govt no intrest loan for 100K, and bought a farm.
Now since she is unable to get anything else, she has a friend do the inhome nurse care for him for 6 months, and splits the check with her.
They now have a new home, a new pickup, boat, camper, and 2 4x4 atvs.
The next step was to buy everything they could think of in big ticket items.
Now they have more bills than anyone could every pay, so the consolate the bills, and file bankruptcy.
They Keep everything, because she files for a divorce, and they dont take her new Mercedes or his new pickup because each needs transportation.
Now she goes whining to everyone she can think of as he has supposanly thrown her out.
She getr welfare, food stamps, and free medi cal. She has several surgerys on her feet, andf is disabled for 3 more years, and gets money for that.
They still live together, do not pay bills, and do not work.
Is there a moral to this TRUE story? Im dammned if I know, But why did I work my butt of for almost 60 years??
