I'm actually going to help spur the economy by spending most of it on painting the house and buying the kids' school clothes.

I voted "goodies for myself" because my income just barely squeezed unde the cutoff so my credit was just $200, so this "loan against future credit" check for me will be about $160. BUT, the IRS is using the 2002 returns to caclulate this, and my income will be slightly higher and one of my kids turned 17 this year, and so she won't be eligible. So I will probably have to give it all back in April.

Therefore, I'm spending it all on me now becasue (I'm assuming) I'm gonna have to pay it back in April no matter what! Of course by "on me" I mean "cable and internet bill".

Have you-all seen the Democratic slam with the new tv ad tat shows an empty mailbox, and the cap, Your children dont get anything form Bush?
BTW: How in the Hell does anyone get child tax credits that dont pay any taxes? Am I not seeing things in the proper prospective here?

I mean how can you get money back when you didnt pay any in in the first place? Duh! ?????????? :( Jack

Well...I pay a ton of money in taxes, and I'd rather the government gave some of it out to help poor kids than some of the other things they do with it, over which I have no control...

Even I draw the limits at "gay" support - no where in nature do I see evidence that any being other than man has "gay" tendencies - I truly don't understand it... That said, though I won't "support" them, what people do in private is their own business as far as I'm concerned, as long as they're not hurting anybody...

Daddy's little tax deductions come through in the clutch. Now, if I could get them to stop wanting more and start giving more, then we would have something. Oh wait, here comes one now (smiling face, sparkle in eye and hand out palm up).
