Hello All,

Today was my lucky day. As you may know Norm Wagner (redn8) WAS selling his Mark VIII. It is now sold and will be coming to live in San Antonio. Tentatively plan to name her RubyIII, have to talk with her about it on the way home.

I knew if I was patient the right one would come along. I had looked at several but my guardian angel that has kept me alive this long said wait. Boy am I ever glad I did.

Thanks for all the congratulatory messages folks. Can you believe there was someone that tried to get him to lower the price. That thought never even crossed my mind. I think I got a terrific deal considering the condition of the car and all the mods.

Amazing how things work out. Congrats Norm, on the new toy and the sale of a car we know you're going to miss, and congrats to Lee, for being patient and finding a beauty of a Mark.

Congrats Lee! I'm sad that Norm is selling his car but at least it's going to a fellow LODer and a good home.

Now... anyone care to place bets on how long it will be before Norm starts looking for a Mark again? That little Mustang can get awful cramped.

Good luck with the ride. Is this like the "inner sanctum" ?

Norm I'm not ususally partial, At least it is a Ford product. Sorry but mustangs are like all over around here.

Welcome back Lee! I have also been away for a while myself. I will explain it at a later date, but I sure have missed y'all.

Hey Dean,

I was just in Dallas/Ft.Worth picking up my new (I mean NEW) '98 Pearlescent White Tri-Coat LSC with OctaStars last Friday (8/8). Flew in for business, found it same day, paid cash and drove it home. 16 hours straight to the LOD Midwest meet on Saturday in Chitown. If you can come up with an ID with my name and likeness, you can have the return trip.
