How long do you think it'll take before that Cub fan's pic who interfered with that catch is posted on the internet? I can see it now..."Most hated Cub fan!" He's already getting abused while still at the game.

They're saying on the news right now that other fans were calling him names, throwing beer at him, etc. They had a whole security contingent escort the poor kid out of the park. Man, I'd hate to be in his shoes right now.

On the other hand, it just means one more game before they go to World Series!

At least they've got Wood available. The Marlins have such good hitters throughout their lineup. I was hoping the Cubs would get thru this one, but 3 runs wasn't enough to get them there.

I heard the whole story on the news today. The fan may have changed the whole course of the game. If the cubs lose the series, he is going to feel incredibly guilty.

I was ther at wrigley walking around to the sports bar and want not. the fans out side seemed upset very upset but at least they didnt riot and start smashing stuff.

You really cant blame the kid for losing. A run or two, ok, but 8? Your pitching failed. Actually the coach failed. Prior was hanging curve balls to the two hitters before that. It was obvious that he was falling apart, and dusty refused to do anything about it. They beat themselves. From the short stop that blew the double play to the poor pitching. The nice thing about being a Cub fan is you get used to losing.

Not only did the pitching and defense fail, but the Marlins pitching had the Cubs hitters way under their averages. I think the biggest play was when the shortstop booted that double-play ball. The Marlins outplayed the Cubs the last 2 games. Oh well........as a Saints fan and a LSU fan who can relate, wait till next year!:+
