After spending some time with "her" and going through the website, I have realized that "Alice" has no "intelligence". All of her responses are pre-determined by a very large XML file. It appears that the organization is attempting to champion this XML format as AIML. The problem is, there is no (algorithmic) machine learning. It does appear that a "remember *" response will trigger a creation of a new node in the XML, but without looking at the code, it appears to be quite elementary. Overall, I am very disapointed.
