RE: looking for some real suggestions!!!
Stanley, all new air suspension, with kale's custom switches. that car already looks awesome, now imagine it "dumped" on the ground.
The two tone is a nice touch, although I dont care for the Gold and Black. That just isnt Mark VIII material.
You really need to do something under the hood too. A show car always has to have a flashy engine compartment. perhaps you could customize the engine beauty cover with a paint scheme to match the exterior.
the rims are beautiful on that car. I would suggest a much wider tire, some custom engine "appearance", and a suspension that is both "useable" and "slam-able" with the hit of a switch.
I think your decision is a wise one. Your car is very deceiving. It has some miles on it, but yet appears BRAND NEW. Now is the time to decide. Dump money into it as a "driver", or delicately "place" money into it, as a show car.
be forwarned though: Car show people suck!
I have been to several hundred car shows in my life. I have found that no matter how nice your car is, there is always someone who thinks their car is nicer. They constanly pick pick pick about what mods you have, throw a few obligatory compliments your way, and wander off, back to their car.
I think you will find that a Mark VIII will raise many eyebrows. Most people either forgot about them, dont know what the hell it is, or wonder why you chose that car to "customize". Enjoy the rarity.
I will sponsor you. I dont have the funds, but you can have my time. I can help with the tooling, mechanical work, and PR work. But you have to bring your car to my shop.
BTW, I have a trailer for sale! its our trailer for our drag car. 18 fot "Drag-Master". Hi-boy(you can open the doors to get in and out, instead of climbing through windows!), 4 new 8 ply tires, a winch, a tool box, a spare, electric brakes, and it tows like a dream(for you "trailer queen). $2500.00 for you($3k for anyone else)
Just one question: what do you plan on towing your "trailer queen" with? The KRON van?
