Some good news to share with my Lincoln buds. My step-son's partner (not yet wife Amanda) gave birth yesterday to a bouncing 7 lb. 13 oz baby girl, named Jasmin. My wife Heather and I are thrilled to have a little grand daughter in our midst. Amanda (the Mom) and Saul (the Dad) are doing fine. Amanda and Jasmin are already home after only one day in the hospital. Little Jasmin is a sister to Amanda's first daughter, Jaycelin.
Ah, young families and baby's. Takes me back some 27 years when my own daughter Amy was born. I was only 23 at the time Sigh... (Doin' the math..... Jeez I'm 50! (Doh!)
Other good news, they recently bought a house of their own and live only 5-10 minutes away... Wooo hooo!
