Sold the Mark

Yes, you guessed it, another "sold the Mark" thread.

My family came in to town and they are staying a good year or so, and I had to sell her. Signed over the title and keys a few days ago, and watched the new owner drive off in my car. It was sad, but there was not much I can do about it. I’m currently searching; don’t think I will ever get another Lincoln (based on my personal experience with ford in general, and their customer service/quality). I’m currently looking for a 96-99 Lexus LS400 (ducks under the table).

But I will still be around here, as I am trying to get a meet rolling sometime this summer for our Central Florida Chapter.

Im currently Car-less at the present time. My father rented a car yesterday, and guess what, he came home in a '04 Lincoln Town car.

Lexus?? S W E E T!!!! I'm in love with my car. Does everything better than the Mark. I would suggest you only look at the 98+ LS400...HID, navigation, and more HP!! Please let me know how you make out! I'll be waiting for pics...

Thanks guys, its going to be tough to find a car, but thats how it always is.

And Ron, I will post pics as soon as get my hands on one. I will be going to different dealerships and auctions in my area this week, and hopefully a nice 98-99 will turn out. I will diffenitly try and go for the newer ones. I will keep you guys posted.

The 1st time I drove an LS400 was a very strange thing. It's so strange because it is SO quiet. Unlike almost any other car available. You hear nothing. Dead quiet. You are moving, but there is no sound. It's weird after driving so many years with "normal" car noises, then nothing. The first outside sound I hear on my test drive was a loud diesel truck. You could literally whisper, and people in the back seat could hear you. It's a very odd sensation, and some people have commented that it's TOO quiet...that it takes away from the driving experience. Some say it's too "sanitized". I liked the quiet. An LS430 or SC430 will be my next car...
