Thanks everyone. This car is some experience, I felt like a celebrity driving it around with all the people shouting comments and little kids running up to it.
Matt you know where I live, if you are out this way give me a call and we can go for spin.
I still have my 97 Mark VIII and it will be my daily driver. It has 97k on it and still runs and looks great. I need to get an outdoor cover for it as the Vette kicked it out of the garage. I will try to make room in the garage and I think I can get both in there for the winter.

The sales guy told me it was a prototype 1 of 1 done for the museum. Some guy won it in a raffle and was to scared to drive it so he traded it on a new Vette with Kerbeck. Said they wanted to do a gold Vette for the 50th anniversary but the gold paint was to hard to match on the bumpers and body panels. So they went with a special red.

1 of 1 built with special gold paint, stripes, body enhancements and autographed by Dave Hill Corvette Chief Engineer, Will Cooksey Plant Manager, and the Corvette Production Team in Bowling Green, KY.
