Who knows, it is just some automotive news. I don't know why you would "hate" Bmws unless you owned them and had terrible experiences with them, but that is just my opinion.

If I had the money, I wouldn’t wait a split second for a GM plastic sports car.

I bet the BMW's keyless entry system is more advanced then the corvette's transmission.

The chevy has that same keyless entry and keyless start system.

And a six-speed manual behind a 400+ hp engine doesn't have to be technologically advanced. It just has to be strong.

Personally i'd take the vette. As a matter of fact, i think i'm going to buy a C5 Z06 myself, in a couple of years. That is, unless the CTS-V values drop like Mark VIII values did.

heh, people are comparing the m5 to the vette. u guys are funny. on the one hand, u have an all out sports car. on the other hand u have a car u can go on a familly outing in and still run circles around most everything on the road. u guys are f'ing mark viii owners, u should be able to differentiate.

TOTTTTTTTTTTTALLy different class, yet some insist how the corvette is a better value. I rather have an M5 then 4 corvettes.

Unless you have driven high-end cars, I dont think you should get to judge them ;)

that looks verry nice

and the c6 looks like poo and im a huge vette fan the styling is way off waht a vette should be the car look to tall and no pop up head lights instead we get the ferari knock offs ill take a c5 styling wise

*Really* miss my '97 540 and its successor, a 2001 525 wagon with a stick. But a divorce, with attendant recurring monthly bloodloss, has me driving something in a lower tax bracket. It's OK, though. Love my Mark just as much as the bimmers. And with what I paid for it, I can afford to mod the crap out of it (own the car outright vs. a $550+ monthly payment on the *lease*). Pretty soon here, it'll be fast enough to spank the 540.

Anyway, the M5 is my personal "if-I-ever-win-the-lotto" car. Always has been, always will be.
