ran a 300C on the highway
coming home on wednesday on fall break I got to run a 300C. Saw some HIDs coming up behind me fast, moved over for him, and then got behind him again. He definetly wanted to run as every open change he jumped on it, and it was definetly quick. A few minutes later we got along side each other. The guy is an eminem looking cheeky fellow
and he had his woman with him. He hits it and I follow suit. I'm allready running about 80 so the Mark doesn't downshift. It got ugly real fast. He quickly pulled about 4 or 5 cars on me. However by the time I got up to about 100 I stopped his pull. By 110 I had started realing him in again. He hit his brakes and I left off at about 120 and there was about 3 car lengths left between us.
I came up along side and gave him props and a thumbs up but he wouldn't look over. About 30 min later we get along side again and this time his woman starts instigating it. I was looking over trying to give him the thumbs up again and I guess he got him to look over, and he looked pissed. He nailed it but this time I was running at 75. I hit it as well and the Mark hung with him. By 95 I had pulled about one car length on him. Ran it up to 110 and had about 1 1/2 to 2 cars on him when I backed out of it. Sadly though he wouldn't pull up along side of me. He just hung back even when I slowed to 65.
Then I got behind a mustang 5.0 who was trying to instigate a race with a 98 or so GT. They were holding up traffic and it was pissing me off. So finally the 5.0 gave up on trying to get the GT to race but I kissed his ass and pulled along side of him and gave him a thumbs up as i passed him, all the while he was shifting furiously and wondering why he was getting passed by a Lincoln.
Very fun trip home. But now I'm in Wichita on the ladies computer. The Mark is outside with broken windshield wipers again and it didn't even find one race all the way out here. Go figure, 3 runs on my 1.5 hour trip back home but nothing at all on my 6 hours of driving out here.
