So not only does BOSE make in my opinion the best speakers worth spending serious money on, but they aparently now make the best automotive suspension as well... :7

RE: BOSE Rules...

That is simply not to be believed! Incredible! It's as if the car is hovering on a bed of air. They don't say when and if this will be available.

RE: BOSE Rules...

I hope it's available as an after market suspension as well...

I read an article in Popular Science on this suspension where the driver successfully jumps a granite curb, i.e. the suspension has enough force to actually launch that Lexus off the ground and then softly land it again.

I wonder which company will be the first to scoop it up?

Looks like Cadillac has something a little similar.http://www.cadillac.com/cadillacjsp/models/feature.jsp?model=sts&feature=rideControl&year=&df=n

That is the magnetic rid control from the Corvette, it came on the anniversary model back in 03. It is an advance system but not the same as the Bose. It uses magnetic fluid in the shocks that changes viscosity depending on the charge, this in turn changes the dampening in real time.

RE: BOSE Rules...

The Vette and of course the ever badass Cadillacs (sans the Catera?) have what I would have to say is the one of the worlds best suspension second only, debatably, to the Bose suspension.

The Stabilitrack system as Cadillac calls it is awesome. The car rides amazingly flat, which only leads me to believe that the Bose system must be mind blowing when you’re in the car.

A little company I worked for (I was the sole quality engineer), made the prototype ceramic/gold circuit boards for the cruise control system about 2 years ago. It is essentially a small scale radar feedback system. Each prototype board cost about $2K, but I'm sure the price will drop once mass quantities are produced.
