German Spitz.

Funny thing - we used to have an American Eskimo Spitz. I never thought I was like the dog.

ALASKAN MALAMUTE

Origins
Alaska. Named after the Eskimo Mahlemut people, the industrious and skilled Inuit people of Upper Western Alaska. Highly prized as a sled dog, being capable of surviving in arctic temperatures and hauling heavy loads on rough terrain.

Personality
Despite its wolfish appearance this breed is gentle, affectionate and loyal with a long memory. Owners warn of a natural stubbornness that must be overcome by training.


Well, they got the stubbornness part right. But arctic temperatures? No thanks.

I am a Spanish Mastiff.

My stamina and strength has few rivals, but I am not an animal for the average household.

Fear me, and feed me! :)

Just did it for my wife. She is a Chow Chow.

They said that the Chow was manily breed for it flesh, and coat. It seems that in the early days of the breed the people of China would use it to hunt and then when they were done with the dog they would turn it into dinner. She didn't like that to much.

I wonder what kind of dog they would have called me had I decided that site is a waste of my time...then I jumped up, grabbed my moniter in my teeth, and shredded it to bits, before I burried it in my back yard?
