Carson Dead at 79

Johnny Carson died at the age of 79 from complications from emphemsema.

Here's a tribute to a man that kept a lot of people up past their bedtime!!

Yeah, that's a damned shame. I grew up with that guy.

NBC's doing a special Dateline on him as I type this. I always wonder if they have these things ready to go before-hand and pull them out when the time comes. Kind of sick, but that's show business I guess.

That is really sad. I remember we had The Tonight Show on just as I was about to give birth. Gave new meaning to "heeeeeere's Johnny."
