I saw a Lincolm MARK LT this morning....

I work in Dearborn Michigan so I often get to see new car models on Manufacturer plates around here. This morning I saw a Lincoln MARK LT. Is this car on the market already? The one I saw had a regular plate (not dealer or manufacturer)

Basically the it was a four door Ford F-150 pickup. Looking at it from the side, the only way you could tell that it wasn't a F-150 was that it had Lincoln chrome wheels. In the back it had a different tailgate and different taillights. I didn't get to see it from the front.

I was surprised to see that this car is a slightly modified F-150. I know that Mercury and Ford make almost identical cars but Lincoln always made different ones...

I don't think they're available to the public yet, but, much like the Blackwood, they have a lot in common with F-150 crew cabs.

FWIW, they are pre-selling on eBay?

I saw a silver one here in STL about a week ago with Missouri plates on it. Looked a lot like a F150, but it did look good.

Now just supercharge it :D

[/div]Isn't the Lincoln Navigator an upscale Expedition? Isn't the Mark VIII an upscale Thunderbird? etc. etc.

Yes, that’s true, but at least they don’t share the same headlights and exact body moldings and sculpture.

So in essence the only real difference is the grille, and wheels.

Yes, but at least they look different from the outside. Someone without a lot of knowledge about these cars would never say that a Mark VIII is the same car as a Thunderbird.

The Mark LT is just like a F-150 with a different tailgate and grill.

I seen one here in Nebraska with in-transits from the local L-M dealership in the window. So they must be for sale someplaces. I did not like it at all. I would much prefer a Blackwood

RE: I saw a Lincolm MARK LT this morning....

The dealership here has had one for about a week and a half. I haven't stopped in and looked at it yet though.

RE: I saw a Lincolm MARK LT this morning....

We've gone through six already. Two were presold, sight unseen, so when our first shipment of LTs arrived, those two were PDI'd, prepped, and delivered almost on the same day.
We sold two more at the Toronto Auto Show last month. They're already delivered.
We have two left on the lot, and they'll probably go quickly.

The Mark LT is a really good looking truck. It attracts a lot of attention with its distinctive grille and lights. As far as options and luxury goes, there's nothing in an LT that isn't in a King Ranch, although the King Ranch can cost more!

RE: I saw a Lincolm MARK LT this morning....

I have equipped the King Ranch with similar options... came out to around 41k for the 4x4, and the mark LT is around 42700 MSRP. But the king ranch can be had for 33.5 after incentives and dealer markdowns. I like the way they priced the Mark LT though.

Yeah, I seen one for sale here in Omaha, at the LM dealership too.

There's a Mark LT sitting here in town at one of our dealerships, with a window sticker just over $46,000. Yipe!!
