Margarita Recipes

Ever since my fun trip to San Antonio, when the weather's nice I seem to have a craving for Margaritas. Especially frozen margaritas.

Anyone have a good recipe to share?

RE: Margarita Recipes

Equal parts tequila and triple sec, sour mix, splash orange juice, and a fresh lime squeeze.

RE: Margarita Recipes

Trixie you want to use half as much triple sec as tequila.
In fact.. just barely use ANY triple sec at all.. IMHO it wrecks a good margarita.

Also.. dont use ANY kool aid type LemonLime powdered stuff as also they wreck a good margarita.

When I tended bar, I used 1 to 1.5 ounces of VERY GOOD tequila.
.0-.05 ounce of Grand Marnier

Juice from 1.5 lemons sliced and squeezed and 3 limes sliced and squeezed per each drink.

Frozen or on the rocks this will make a VERY GOOD Margarita.

Thanks! I'm running out of tequila.

Actually, so far I've found that I prefer Grand Marnier to Triple Sec. I've got to try more recipes til I find that perfect one. :9
