RE: sexy sexy

The Maybach's alright except the front. The same with the truncated ends of the Navicross.

RE: sexy sexy

wow I like both the maybach and the navicross.

I think something that looks like the maybach, but with a different nose piece and minor adjustments would make for a great mark series.

The navicross looks more geared towards family life than the mark viii's, so it would be great for me and the kids now :)

RE: sexy sexy

That Navicross is a 4 door.
And I come from a generation of gearheads that had as a motto: "I would rather have a sister in a whorehouse than a neighbor with a 4 door car".

RE: sexy sexy

I agree. I have never owned a four-door car. I always think of four-door car as something someone buys if they have a family or have elderly friends.

I still cannot get used to the number of four-door cars on the road. The two-door coupe is a dying breed.

Alex,

I agree with your statement. Before having a family I have never owned either a 4-door car or any type of suv. The use of a suv makes my life so much easier right now. I think the navicross is a good in between car. Kind of looks part car part small suv to me which would work great for my family now, but I do love and always will love the 2 door sport coupes.

A car with the looks similar to both the maybach and the 16 would be the right way and only way for Lincoln to bring back the mark series.

[/div]The problem with that is the same with all these concepts. People say they love them [as a concept] but when the companies actually produce them, they're too ostentatious for people to actually want one in their driveway. The Chevy SRS is an example - everyone said "it's cool - build it" yet no one actually wants one in their driveway - they're just too "different"...

In the case of the "SSR" it is more the price tag, the base price starts above 43k for a novelty truck and the running board is extra.

RE: sexy sexy

I dont think it's the its just to different keeping people from buying the SSR. IMO it is priced way to high and came in lacking the power people expected it to have. The thing has as starting price of 44,000 and they also only offer it as a limited availiblity car not a full production model.

They did upgrade the engine for 2005 and went with the 6.0l with just under 400hp so they did do some upgrading.

RE: sexy sexy

SSR would sell like hotcakes if it had an LS1 and a normal bed with an easily removeable tonneau, and was priced below 35k.

It has an LS2 now, with 390 horsepower and 405 lb.-ft. of torque.

Exactly what I was thinking! ::roll::

RE: sexy sexy

We'll see who will make their car a reality, instead of the usual "hey! look what i can build, but will never do".
