Long Time, No Read

hi it's been a long time since I was here, a year or more, and my name was DAVIDCC. I just figured that out but too late I created this new handle and I like it better. Kempo is my number one obsession (other then my new wife see below) so this handle is better.

But it seems some things never change :) I still have my blk/blk 94, it's up over 160k now. Had to put a rebuilt tranny in it last year (twice grrrr) and I got it painted but then almost IMMEDIATELY damaged that paint job worse than it was before it got painted (now I know why my dad always said never use snow chains). It's still got 4.10 gears and MMC driveshaft, still using the K&N filter but I went back to the stock MAF. The passenger seat no longer moves :( but maybe when I get that 110 gallon acrylic aquarium out of my garage and into my living room I can get the Mark in there and pull that seat and get that figured out.

It still runs pretty well, this fall they resurfaced my parking lot at work and so I had to christen that with a 120-ft both-wheel burnout that has all of the gear-heads at work wondering which one of them did it (no it was none of your camaros) don't ask and I won't tell }( however I do get codes for always rich and always lean at the same time, Ithink this means I need new O2 sensors.

I got married, got a new step-daughter (5 yrs old) my 19 yr old daughter moved out and then moved back in, bought 2 houses and my wife a new Alero. I've been tempted to trade up my 94 (but only for a 96!!! Mark8 for life baby!!!) My wife gave up long ago trying to find another car I might be interested in. Who is she kidding she loves the tinted windows and spacious leather seats because even at 39 I can still get naughty in the back seat (or front LOL)(she's only 27 and HOT and a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do).

But anyway I have a techncial question and no time to post it now because I wanted to write this "hello" first :D SO I will post that tomorrow. In the meantime, Hey to all my old friends and to all the people I used to annoy, hope your Marks are still going strong! But if you've got a black interior car you are parting out I need some junk so drop me a line hahaha

take care, ttyl

David
