The Blue Flame had been just resting in the garage, so I decided to take in a local show. The Dream Machines Car Club(http://www.dreammachinescarclub.org/) hosted the 4th Annual Happy Birthday West Virginia Car Show here in Morgantown, WV.

Unfortunately I had forgotten my camera, but my trusty Nokia camera phone was on hand.

The Blue Flame picked up a trophy for the Top 35. :D

More local rides on display...

RE: WV B-day Car Show

Is that real wood on that pick-up? What kind of car was it originally?

Pretty good pictures for a cell phone.

RE: WV B-day Car Show

"Woody" was some type of Oldsmobile? I can't imagine the man-hours it took to create something like that. Even the interior was wood treated. Strips of wood about 1-1/2" long secured with scews every few inches adorned nearly every surface. He used 'Pledge' to wax it!

The Nokia does pretty good for web size pics at 640x480.

The '57 Bel Air was a blast from the past. I used to own one.

The red Ford Coupe was a ground-up full restoration from a barn relic. A photo-album detailed the process.

The 'Cuda was equipped with a 'Six-Pack' at well over 500 HP, but it had seen its better days.

The Big Black Cadillac... good grief that car was looooong. :7
