Got Windows Tinted (lots of pics)

Got my windows tinted for my b-day present to my self yesterday.

I went with a 35% smoked tint that was recommended by the installer. It compliments the shale interior, blocks out the UV rays, and has good outward visibility The back was computer cut in one piece and thanks to Tom at Frisbie's in Lafayette, NJ the tint looks very, very good over the black dots. Tinting over those black dots is a hard thing to do, on a lot of vettes it looks like crap, or they cut the tint around it, or they piant it, or they try to sand the dots off.

Hey Steve, your vette is looking good. Once again I really DIG that color. Tint came out looking pretty good. Btw time will tell if it was a good job, hope you got a lifetime warranty on it?! How much was it to tint the vette? Btw I'd be careful about getting pulled over with 35%. I got pulled over with my 20% on the fronts. Oh and of course HAPPY B DAY! :7

I got LLumar window film http://www.llumar.com/, life time warranty, the guy who installed it has been in business for about 20 years.

Looks great! Love the color combo...and the tint wraps it up nicely. Your installer did a fine job, and a nice choice.

one question though...are you going to be able to spot the Po-Po on the pike now when your goin a buck 20? :+
