My and a few buddies are heading to Ubly dragway (www.ublydragway.com/ublyhome.htm) on Oct. 18th for some drag racing. It's a real nice track, 300 ft concrete launch pad, all new pavement like 2 years ago, and so much VHT that you wouldn't be able to spin if you were running on tempa-spares.
Ubly Dragway is located in the thumb area of Michigan, 90 miles north of Detroit on M-19.
From I-75, exit east on M-46, travel 45 miles to M-19, north on M-19 for 20 miles.
From I-69, travel northeast to M-53 (Imlay City), go North on M-53 for 25 miles to M-46, go east on M-46 for 8 miles to M-19, north on M-19 for 20 miles
I couldn't find an actual track address so i can't put up a link to exact directions, but the following map is close:

But the track is actually on Ubly road (M-19). i don't know if it's north of the star on the map or south. If you go south on the map you'll see M-46 down a ways. This track is way out in the boonies.
I'll be out there with the Lincoln, running crappy times as usual. A few of my friends will be out there too. Dave hopes to have his Cougar running by then (supercharged XR7). Mike wants to bring both of his cars, he just needs someone to drive one of them. One is a '89 supercoupe with a stick, one's a '95 V8 Thunderbird with 4.10's. Dave's coworker is going to bring his Fairmont out (don't laugh, he'll whoop all of us all motor). There might be one more supercharged cougar out there with us too.

. Seriously, though, we'll probably try to be out of here pretty early. The track opens at noon, so we'll probably leave at like 10:30 or 11:00, stop and eat, and get there at about 12:30 or 1:00. There will probably be a slight backup down the road to get into the track, but we'll get a lot more runs than we did in WI. We'll have to get in touch by phone before the run if we want to run out there together. Does Martin (i think that was his name...) want to go with his Honda? The more the merrier. Plus i need someone there that i think i can beat
