To make a long story short, there were 775 cars registered at the Merchantville Car Show in Merchantville, NJ yesterday. There was EVERYTHING under the sun from a three wheeled French something or other to some of the HOTTEST Boyd Coddington Hot Rods you have ever seen at a car show.

As far as Lincolns go, There was OldSchool's '88 Mark VII, My '92 Lincoln TC SS ....THEN there was the 1954 Lincoln, the '77 Town Coupe, a 68 Continental Lo-Rider and I few more spread out amongst the 775 cars at the show. It was a sight the likes of which I've never seen. These guys with the other Lincolns are PROS.... I mean their cars were the some of the finest cars I've ever seen. We got there at 1:30 PM. So, it's now 8:00 PM and they're starting to give out the awards for best stock and modified cars ...

So we're waiting and waiting and waiting and all of a sudden, they call John's (OldSchool) name ... YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He nabs one for his Mark VII .... the list goes on and like a streak of lighting out of the blue MY name is called and I nabbed one for the TC .... Talk about shocked.... anyway, if it wasn't for finding my TC on Ebay a year ago, this board and meeting John and the rest of you good folks with ALL the help and direction you were able to post, yesterday would have never happened. Thanks to ALL of you! Pics will be on John's website www.lscclub.org sometime today!

Hope to see some of you at Kahunaville in Delaware later today!

Jack :D

Hi-jacking my own thread here.....

I nabbed another Stock Class Trophy today! :)

It was hot, humid, raining on and off from 8 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon.

It reminded me of last year's Car Tunes Car Show here in Philly where we litterally had "Who can dry off their cars fastest" contests.

It was well worth it, though. The registration fee and percentages of the vender's receipts from the meet went to the Armed Forces Veteran's Home and Active Service Personnel. It was held on the PA National Guard Armory Headquarters.

Almost all of the cars there (about 150) were also at the Merchanville Show from last weekend and also a couple were at Carlisle. I was the lone Lincoln but they stuck me next to a 1964 Thunderbird Convertible and a 1969 Mercury Comet GT so at least I was in "Papa FORD" territory!

No pictures due to all the rain ...
