Phils Car....The Actual Automobile

Ok, here is the actual machine you will be getting, I am not posting the price of the vehicle yet, but remember this sale is to benefit the widow and not just the usual sale. I think a raffle may still be in the works, but due to the lack of enthusiasm and interest generated so far, I am a little doubtful a raffle will take place, I hope I am proved wrong in this case. Here is a list of obvious mods and the ones I'm aware of. As you can see I have the car in the lowered position, I figured out how to manipulate the settings on the computer to adjust it like I want. I'll be more than happy to show the new owner how to do it until they can get a new control device installed. It's pretty cool to be able to set the height where you want. I could set it a little lower but I'm scared the tires will rub the fender wells, so this is as low as I'm willing to go right now.

The exhaust sounds great, the best mod next to the Cobra Rims...in my opinion. The gears make this car absoulutely scream up to 60MPH. You can brake the tires loose for about 50' + and then as soon as it shifts into 2nd gear the tires break loose again for about a half second. I've never been challenged before in my mark, I go out one day in this thing and some adult in a Honda Civic complete with fart can revs his teeny little motor and cuts out at the red light. I let him have it knowing the next light would be red as well. Now full of confidence the cocky sucker readies (spelling?) himself for another victory. Standard MarkVIII posture OD off, Trac off, slam the accelerator to the floor as soon as the light goes green, leave the above mentioned 50' loose wheels and put a look of sheer terror on this guys face. As second gear kicks in and the rear fishtales in triumph, He decides to turn at the next light as opposed to face me at the next light. I know this forum has nothing to do with racing, but I thought it would be a good selling point :)
and it really happened! Oh and in case anyone was wondering, the Civic was blue, no punn intended.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact myself or Jerry Heep. If you decide to email, please, please, please use the word Phil as the first word in the subject line, or it will be deleted. You would not believe the volume of junk mail I get on this account

RE: Phils Car....The Actual Automobile

I'd buy a few raffle tickets, if one were to take place.

1998 LSC - Toreador Red/Light Graphite
1987 Mustang GT - Oxford White hatchback

RE: Phils Car....The Actual Automobile

I'm definetly not in the market to buy another car, but I think I'd be up for a raffle ticket or two.

RE: Phils Car....The Actual Automobile

Isn't that odd. All I see is a red x where the photos were yesterday. Are you going to post a price or just wait on offers.

Thanls,

Lee

I can see the pics now by following those links. Looks good!

So, is that a base model? I see an LSC badge on back, but the headlights don't look like HIDs.

Yea, that's what I said, I have no Clue what the heck is up with that. I previewed that thing like 50 times to insure everything was cool and then I checked it out after I posted it, I have no clue why the pics won't post now? As for the price, I just wanted everyone to see what was availible, hopefully this would generate some interest in the vehicle and the raffle then we will go from there. The wife has a number in mind, but "no resonable offer refused". If you'd like to make an offer email me. You could be the proud new owner of this serious Rice Killa.

RE: Phils Car....The Actual Automobile

The HIDs were already sold by Lynn by the time the pictures were taken.

RE: Phils Car....The Actual Automobile

Good. Can you give us details on what he installed fromm you? We need it for the for sale ad.

RE: Phils Car....The Actual Automobile

i due belive he just did my exhaust kit fron front to back. i am not shure what mufflers he ended up with and i cant remember if he had ordered any thing else from me.

RE: Phils Car....The Actual Automobile

I would spend about $100 on raffle tickets.
