I am considering selling all the go fast parts to get some extra money toward the 04 cobra 4v swap. This intake would go perfect with the vortech I have for sale.

upper and lower cobra manifold
cobra IMRCs with controller box
cobra fuel rails
cobra throttle body /intake tube
misc sensors (IAC, IAT, TPS ...)

basically everything you would need to have a cobra intake installed on either a 1st or 2nd gen mark viii. I would like to get $600 for it, as it is complete. Upper and lower alone go for $350-$400 but you still have to buy fuel rails, imrcs and many other parts. Feel free to ask any questions.

Do you think putting the cobra intake on was easier/cheaper than fabbing a custom discharge tube? What about ease of tuning and power increases?

I don't think I would've gained approx 130rwhp with just the vortech at 7psi. So yes, there was a substantial power gain, even with the intake alone. Was it easy ? I'd say yes, despite the small clearance problems that I run into. Shimming the K-member was very easy, but it seems that both Dennis and Lonnie didn't have to do that. So maybe you won't have that much problem with the install. Cheaper ? I don't really know ... Joe you still have that custom tube for sale ?

I was thinking about that ... how low can you drop it until your run into oil pan clearance issues ?

Cannot drop the motor mounts w/o a tubular K member due to oilpan issues. You can drop the motor about 1" with a tubular K member.

I dont mean to xo but too much i was going to buy that same setup your selling for 350$$
