I was sticking 2.0 60s with my 245/40-20s and a good converter
I did 2.0 60s with drag radials and a little better than stock converter.

I could only muster 1.95's with the 125 shot , 3.73's, sticky drags and stock convertor. 2.15's w/o 125 shot.

A good convertor is the key IMO. How the hell Geno got a 1.8X on motor is beyond me.

I don't know but Geno's car looks like it damn near does wheelies.

My goal for next summer is to pull a wheel up on launch (hey, you have to set your sites high, right? ). I think if i put enough weight behind the centerline of the rear axle i might get there . That'll be funny, a 13.xx car pulling the wheels up. Seriously, i doubt it'll do it, but i'm still going to try it with slicks and tempa-spares up front. There's a guy on modular depot who pulled up the wheels on a 13.1 run. If all else fails, photoshop, right?

My best 60' is 2.02. Thats down from 2.19 with only a convertor and headers.

Eli, new NHRA 1/8 mi rule in affect 2004. at "sanctioned" track... 92 mph or higher in 1/8 require the same safety gear as a 11.99 1/4 mi.car. In otherwords.. the old "nail it for 990 then lift/brake" wont cut it anymore.... bummer for the "not legal" gang, but safety is their new "campaign"... can ya blame them?

Damn... as slow as my stock 94 is to the ol' "STOMP", IT TAKES 2.00 just to move the damn car. haha

there are so many people that just dont realize what 2/10ths out of the hole is worth down track. Those are the ones I try to line up with. I just wish someday my Mark would 60 ft like our drag car... 1.37's. Of course, that aint no street driven car, and its got a little help from Hilborn and Methanol...And in this pic, its still on the way UP!
