"Heart beat of America" I hope not!

I see what looks to be a gray primer El Camino from a distance. As I approach the "muscle car", I see two fat tires in the rear, perhaps 9-10 inches and unarguably smaller tires in the front. The back of the El Camino read, "Heart Beat of America". I have not raced for quite a while, so now was my chance. I drop it in first gear, t/c off, O/D off and then we wait for the go. We both hesitate, not knowing if the other is willing to race. I hear his back tires chip, his engine is getting louder and then I punch it. I instantly pulled on him and within seconds was half a car length in front of him. I am now almost a full car length ahead and still pulling slowly. It is over and I start breaking, a few seconds later he does the infamous flyby. I catch back up with him at normal speeds and give him a nod with confidence, he nods back. That man did not even know what hit him, every time I was next to him his eyes were on the Mark with a dumbfounded look, I guess you could call it the ____Mark of the Cobra___.

Being that an El Camino is a car that I am looking into getting in the next few months possibly around june, I can tell you that the engine was probably not original or redone. Also these did come in a six cylinder. Assuming that the car was in primer gray I can assume that the guy picked up the car cheap and is probably going to want to redo the whole car but anyway a kill is a kill-another notch for the mark 8
