No bragging today. LOL!

Best I could pull off at Mason Dixon Dragway was a 14.939 @ 93.19. A couple of 15.0's and 15.1's. ::nono::

It just didn't seem to want to run any faster? Weather was warm and humid, maybe that was it. Traction did seem harder to come by with 60' times in 2.2's. ::grrr::

Not to mention the car decided not to start(again) for a while(at the track!) and I still haven't figured that out. x(

Well, at least you got to run again. Addicting, isn't it?

When I think my times seem high, I'll ask the guys with the serious race cars if their times are off too. I usually attribute it to weather or conditions.

From the guys I talked to, maybe .2 to .3 seconds off. FWIW there was a stiff headwind. Plus, I don't think this track was as good as Pittsburgh's for traction - at least for me and my Michelin's. Word has it that it is known to be a slow track?

Accuweather showed temp to be 66 degrees F with a 52% relative humidity and a barometer reading of 30.3 in Hg. This was an post race online search - it sure felt warmer on the field. BTW, the altitude of this track is somewhere around 550'.

The best timeslip was:
RT - 0.466
60' - 2.226
330' - 6.321
1/8 - 9.657
MPH - 74.06
1000' - 12.519
1/4 - 14.939
MPH - 93.19

Do these numbers tell any tales?

I didn't like the 60 foot times - 2.2x all day. Reviewing the timeslips and video today confirmed a lack of traction. What would 0.1 seconds in the sixty foot be in the 1/4 ET? ::roll::

Generally the rule of thumb is .1 in the 60 ft is .2 in the 1/4.
