What did it take almost 40 days...I didn't realize they BUILD our own motherboards, or have them made by a 3rd party to order, and by spec...I would have asked for aleast one 64 bit PCI slot had I known.
The Logitech sound sys is really just wild, it hooks up to a DVD player, playstation, X-box, TV, & the PC, I think in one of the pics you can see the box, I HIGHLY RECOMEND IF ANYONES IN THE MARKET, GET IT!!!

Don't know if this means anything to anyone...but the system moves along at 7 GIGAFLOPS, which for a home PC...ROCKS!!!

Man, I am SO paying for it though. More than just money wise; room wise, HEAT wise (the thing is a space heater), and now that my wife has seen the bill... :eek: xo x( ::nono:: ::wtf::

I LOVE these speakers, rattling the pictures the glasses and dishes, walls.....some of the lowest bass I've heard from a system like this. As a whole the sound is better then my big compo. stero system; I've got the playstation, dvd player, and two computers hooked up to it, I'm looking to get another set of these for the plasma tv w/ the DTS, THX and DD Pro Logic II...... am very pleased by the spearker set.

Thanx for the "lucky Bastard" even though the system is pretty much OLD now, the vid card is at least two gen.'s behind I wish it was SATA II but it aint (could get a card I guess)and the ram is real slow (the good thing about alienware systems is though you can overclock the ram big time, just need to make sure they stay cool) Other then that..... no it's a great system, I mean it's compare to the new two core duo's or whatever but for what it needs to do and what it does (music & movie server) it works great.

I may install a game on it someday....:p

You need to get a Sony SXRD LCOS TV. I bought one just in time for superbowl last year and it beats ALL.

AMD and Intel are both coming out with quad core processors soon...wait for those. If trends continue, the AMD will be the better option.
