RE: 43 days and counting!

Me too. Although, I'll be driving a Dodge Viper with a broken halo-generator emitter.

Sorry to hear you'll be in a Dodge, Jerry. :D

Maybe I can give ya a hand with that broken halo-generator emitter thing. :p

RE: 43 days and counting!

I'll be there too....but only "Mark-less". The wife and I will be there in my '03 Mach 1 as my Son has decided he "wants" my Mark VIII now ::roll:: instead of the '91 Mark VII or '89 Mustang 5.0LX. Now I've got to sell those two instead of "my" Mark VIII.

RE: 43 days and counting!

For all people who still need a hotel, I just made a reservation at the Radisson through hotels.com for $89 a night.

RE: 43 days and counting!

If I didnt live so damn far away, I'd bring my 94 and our 97 LSC. I just dont have the $$$ to drive all the way across the country in either/both cars.

But, I will just have to wait on this end of the country, and hope everyone has a good time.

Jeremi, good luck. I hope that wicked Gen 1 turns more heads than you can count. Awesome machine you have there.(you are bringing your car, right?)

RE: 43 days and counting!

"tha bizzzznachtttt" is in pieces now, but one more week, and I should have a 12sec ride. I hope it won't blow up half way there LOL.

Craig, you still should be getting good mpg. I bet you would use the same amount of gas to drive over here from Cali that I'll use to get to the Carlisle = 12mpg ::roll::

RE: 43 days and counting!

Who are you going to have do your tune, Jeremi? I was over at Alternative Performance last weekend, Lidio has a dyno there and is now an SCT dealer. He's got a pretty good reputation also. I've personally seen a street car that he (or his shop) built run 9's.

RE: 43 days and counting!

You wanna play? You gotta pay!

I wouldnt mind having a 12 second street car that gets 12 mpg. Our roadrunner runs 13.10's and gets a whopping 7 mpg(6 pack's will do that, ya know). As soon as the new motor is together, it'll be running low 12's, and be getting gallons to the mile, not miles per gallon!

Enjoy the ride. I'm sure, knowing you, she'll hold together just fine J!

RE: 43 days and counting!

My dad's toy gets approx. 0.75 mpg. Of course it weighs 20,000 lbs and has two 454's with 4 barrel carbs.

RE: 43 days and counting!

I wanted to go to Carlisle this year........but ran out of funds. Was out of work sick for nearly a month back in Feb. and I just spent a bunch of money of new rims, tires, and a dyno tune. O well, I plan on being there next year! Have fun guys, take some pics for me.

RE: 43 days and counting!

well, me and my cousin are going. hopefully. Depends on when the coffe shop opens but pretty sure im going.

RE: 43 days and counting!

I would SOOO love to go, I'd take the ole Stang and the Mark, but I'm kinda stuck on this island. Maybe we can have a Hawaiian show, whaddya say 94Hondakilla??

RE: 43 days and counting!

Well, I will be there this year. I however sold my mark for something slightly more economical. I will be there with my 2004 Ford Focus SVT. I will be showing it. Can I still hang with my Lincoln club members? I am also staying at the radisson. See you all there. Oh yea, and I have only had my SVT for about 3 weeks and already added a cold air intake. LOL I can't leave anything stock.

RE: 43 days and counting!

I'm driving a rental Ford. They'll let us in, although they may put us in some dark corner and insist we wear bags over our heads, so we don’t embarrass the Lincoln driving members.....
