Carlisle Drag Racing?

Anyone know anything on the drag racing @ Carlisle?

I think there's an 1/8 mile track nearby, but i haven't gone. I believe some people went last year, though.

I think i'll probably hold off on drag racing 500 miles from home. Something about a trans with 106k on it and a 3200 stall.

Twenty minutes from the Carlisle Fairgrounds, South Mountain Dragway will be the place to smoke your tires and whittle down your ETs on the one-eighth-mile strip. Special match race vehicles are scheduled to be part of the action.

EDIT: Hey, I have a 112K tranny planning on taking on a 3500 stall. I ain't skeered. LOL

Yep. Pretty sure, at least. I have to coordinate a couple more things to make my trip next week. I'll be down in MD all week then coming up to Carlisle on the way back. There's a good chance i'll be in MD the week after also.

Still need to get a hotel reservation, and register for the show. But i got the roof re-painted and got the car all waxed up. A little touch-up paint and maybe another quick coat of wax, and she'll be ready to show.
