It is "Carlisle Eve" folks. Many of you are hitting the road today, or packing up the wagon for your weekend.

I just wanted to voice a few words of caution, blessings of a good time, and prayers of safety.

I hope you all have a great time, and wish you all good luck if you are showing your pride off.

Leo, I hope they pick a nice trophy for you and Moose this year, as I am sure you will take honors again.

Be safe, and PLEASE...take pics for us who are less fortunate and cannot attend.

Oh, one of these years, I'll surprise you all and show up. But the best I can do now is attend 'through' you who are all going.

JP, dont forget to spray tire shine inside your wheel wells...it's a nice little touch that helps the car look "fresh". ;)

I'm not too concerned about the 'fresh look'. With my clearcoat starting to deterioate on the hood, I gotta rely on the hood being up and the bling under the hood distracting 'em. ;)

Best of luck to all of you that will be at the show. Hope you all have a safe trip to and from. As Craig stated above take plenty of pics for us that will not be there.

As usual I am NOT ready. During a WOT run today the vortech idler pulley started making WEIRD sounds. I have to pull the blower, try to get new bearings, put it all back together, pray that the noise goes away, clean the car, sleep couple hours and hit the road.

Really, thanx for the offer, believe me I was so close today to canceling my trip; after finally getting new bearings for the idler, I put it all together, and went to start it. No power whatsoever, DEAD battery, and it wouldn't take charge. I just finished installing new optima, and she finally purrs like a kitten. Quick 0-120 run and we're in business.
Tomorrow quick wash and wax, and I'll see you guys Saturday morning !!!



BTW JP, you want that 3.07 open diff delivered to Carlisle ?

Yeah I got carded LOL oh well I guess in 20 or so years I would love to be carded. Oh and yes all had a laugh at my focus. Well I like it no matter what everyone says. Rice well not quite I do not have the huge stereo or large rear wing on a FWD car. LOL overall great time this evening with LOD members. Can't wait to tomorrow when it all starts like Leo said. Oh and Leo just remember I know where you are. One more crack about the Small Car and you may not wake up the next morning. LOL just kidding. LOL:D Thanks for all the best wishes everyone. We will be safe and represent the club in the finest way possible.

Leo, that couldn't be me ... my car is in fact in a garage, but right next to my house. She's almost ready. I'm staying in Chambersburg tomorrow night, and arriving at the gates around 8:30 or so on Saturday morning. Can't wait to see you all there !!!

Hmmm, the Comfort Inn of Chambersburg @ exit 20 is nice. :) Just so happens that's where I ended up tonite. Can't wait 'til morning. :D

Jeremi, apparently everyone's broke? No bites on the gears. A couple months back, I probably could've sold three.

Leo, does that mean that Moose gets a "tent"(I know, not a real tent/canopy...probably in a building/ehxibition hall)? I havent been so I have no idea, but it sounds like your car has been selected(probably from past honors) to be shown indoors as an "invitational"? That would be absolutely CHOICE! Although it probably gets alot more foot traffic, huh? (foot traffic = spectators getting too close for comfort). Anyway, if that's the case...enjoy the "roof"...(especially if it rains) Man, I HAVE to do carlisle one of these years.

And as far as that Lambo'd Mark VII, go sell that guy some DF products!!!

Thanks John...I didnt see it at all, as I rarely venture into the "Carlisle" threads...sort of a avoidence issue with me...since I cant go :( But since it is "here", and many of our members are going, I tippie-toed in to wish them all luck, and safety.
