How Many Mark VIIs?

oldschool1

Registered
I've only heard from THREE Lincoln Mark VII owners about showing this year:
Bill "BMNLSC" Neary - 1986 Lincoln Mark VII LSC
Rick "One_Way" Eckenrode - 1990 Lincoln Mark VII Special Edition (red)
John "OldSchool" Dancy - 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC

Missing so far from last year is:
Russ
Adam
Joshua
John (sold BLWN5SPD)
and a couple more that I cannot think of.

As things stand, the current line up would be your first, second, and third place winners.
WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?!?
WHAT ARE YOU SHOWING?!?

Most presenters have headed to their trailers/campers/hotels and we cam back to check on our tents and grab some stuff from the trunk. Joshua and Adam and Russ are showing Mark VIIs and Driller and some of the Lincolns Of Distinction crew are showing Mark VIII's.
I saw light rain ALL day.

I have to admit John, you Mark VII guys did good! :) Mrs. Driller wants to see our '91 LSC there next year! As well as the 'Blue Jewel', her '02 Signature Series Town Car. ;)

Thanks Brother and you KNOW we'd be glad to have her.

For 2006 though, we need TONS of pre registrations so that we can get the Mark VII class divided. That sandlewood colored Bill Blass next to my Blue Mettalic Frost Mark VII should have spanked EVRYBODY's ass for being bone stock and having 900 point chrome. I didn't really take a look at the car until Sunday and then when I did I said OMG!

RE: Winners

I thank every that participated. I would like to see the Mark VII class divided into stock and modified also. The organizers of the Carlisle event work with clubs. They know me well. Over the years I have requested the Mark VII division and the subdivision of the Mark VIII classes. All I need to make a request is garanteed participation. We need to make sure people are pre-registered next year. I can then ask for a splitting of the Mark VII class and possibly other classes. It would be great if we could have a separate Town Car and Continental class.

I had a great time at Carlisle, as usual. I enjoyed meeting both the old regulars and the new people.

Next year will be even better.

And we thank you too Alex.

I am motivated to split the classes. Pre registration appears to be the key and communication with the powers that be. Let's make this happen Alex as I ~know~ the LS owners would love this too!

OUCH! ;)

Yep, it was VERY nice!

I'm sure constructive discussions with the show promoters will get them to think about splitting the Mark VII class up.

Is Bill "BMNLSC" on this board?

If you are Bill, could you share your ideas with Alex concerning Mark VIIs in 2006?

Believe you me; I'm ready to start collecting registrations NOW (June 2004) for the next All Ford Nationals (June 2006).
