Well Finally decided to post pics

RE: Well Finally decided to post pics

If you think that shot is good of the house you should see it when the snow is gone. The Caddy pic was in the driveway a few days after I got it. It's an Escalade ESV. The Navi pic was on the basketball court which doubles as my car wash/detailing spot. Only thing I am missing is a garage to kept them all in. I have a barn, but it is used as a storage area and more than likly will house a horse or two soon for my daughter who is now taking english riding lessons.

Very nice spread...reminds me of the home I lived in, in Canada...but ours was built in 1792...older than the country itself.

anyway, times have changed, and we needed to expand. Here's a pic of our home. Its a bit shabby, but it'll do.

That's not your house Craig. Your house would have a huge garage as the center of attraction!

RE: Well Finally decided to post pics

Thanks guys. I work hard for what I have. Man the house you posted Craig is awsome.

We had to do alot of work to our house that wasn't known when we brought it. We had a flood in the downstairs area becuase of the high water table. So we had to add a pump station to make sure the water stays out of the house. Then 2 years later it flooded again. This time we had 3 feet of water in the downsatirs area. We have a bedroom, pantry, and family room own there. Everything was ruined. Had to gut everything and have it redone. Found out the builder of the house didn't do anything right when he finished the downstairs. No insulation, no vapor barrier, and the heat/air ducts were run wrong. Needless to say we had it all redone and done right. No problems since. Had to buy a generator also this way when we lose power the pumps will still run and keep the water out of the house.

I hope you folks know I was just kidding.

John, they say success breeds contempt. To an extent, I believe this to be very true.

But I am quite the opposite in my stride. I repsect those that worked for their money, but I dont disrespect those that had it handed to them...hell, life dealth them aces...that's not any reason to dislike them.

Its the drug dealers, and scumbags that feed off the innocense of children that dont deserve the fruits of our labor.

You have done well for yourself, and I'm glad you decided to share the pics.

Sharon...you're right...my dream house would have a wrap-around porch like this:

on a nice picturesque piece of land...
something like this:

and a shop that looked like this(but with better cars!):

...now, that isnt asking too much, now is it? ;)

Craig,

Alls good. I agree with what you are saying. Trust me my mom use to have to dodge collection calls when I was a young kid. I know and have lived on both ends of the spectrum. I also had to wait until there was an opening before going to work for my dad, just like he had to wait when he worked for my grandfather. Before working here I was an electrican and had to go through the apprenticeship which meant doing my share of the grunt work.

I love wrap around porches. I wish I had one on my house. I didn't post these pics to brag, just wanted to share some of life with the rest of the club.
