Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

RE: Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

Nice! Both cars and scenery! :) I see some calendar pics on the horizon! ;)

Looks like some GMs have moved in Mark VIII City! :7

RE: Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

Yep...the other "non-Mark VIII" cars at that house are:

2001 Corvette
1970 Chevelle SS 454
1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, 440-6pack(ours too)
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda 440-6pack(his)

The other cars in the pic(s) are his neighbor's driveway. Dont worry...the other "resident cars" are well-worth any camera shots!

Stra...Those pics were taken at a Golf Course about 60 miles north of where I live, (you gonna sell me your hood, or what?)in a town on the west side of Clearlake...trust me, I'd also love to look out my window and see scenery like that.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

DAMN that's nice. She was crazy for ever not liking those wheels.

RE: Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

Well Craig once again. I think this is a pristine example of a cherry 97 Mark VIII. Untouched and in probably the best care a car could hope for.:D

I dunno Craig, you may have read that wrong. I've seen Mark's car. It's impeccable, as I'm confident yours is. At worst it would be a toss up. :)

Now if I asked for a trade, THAT would be cold! :7

RE: Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

what I meant was... Mark KNOWS how bad I want a Gen 2 LSC in Black...he was taunting me! hehheh

JP...Your "Blue Flame" belongs with you. I couldnt possibly take care of it the way you do. Besides, I'd have to change my user name, and that aint happening. As far as trading a gen 2 LSC for a gen 1...wont happen...that gen 2 aint going no where!

I guess I didn't know. Tou wouldn't know either I don't particularly care for Black on Black even though my '91 LSC is just that. But that's just me. What I hate is the constant care it takes to look "good". For instance, if I'm waxing it I'm cursing each and every minor flaw that shows, but everyone else is standing back saying "Wow! That's Sharp!". :7

"Blue Flame"... I like that!!! :D Thanks Craig, I've been looking for an appropriate nickname for my '93! ;)

The Blue Flame... ahhhhh... :D

EXACTLY!!! I haven't been happy with the finish ever since I drove it out of the dealer showroom 2 1/2 years ago. Just ask Sharon. I'm always threatening to have the whole thing stripped and repainted. She just looks at me like I'm nuts. And rightly so I suspect. ::uh::

Craig I love the car looks great. Want to trade for a Land Rover Discovery? Only for the summertime though then I want the Disco back for winter :)

Man...gas prices alone would KILL me. Besides, I could never part with such a perfect example of a 97 LSC. I have always wanted one, either Black or Tor. red...with O-stars. Now that I have it...I must find another....

Thanks for the kind words John...but I am sorry...no can do pal. ;)

Now if it was a mark VIII convertible you offered up for a 6-month swap...my reply would be quite different! ;)

Doesn't hurt to give it a try

I wouldn't give it up either. I really need to go out and look for another Gen II I miss mine :(

Yeah gas prices do suck and it costs almost $60 to fill the Landy up

RE: Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

Even though Im not an Octstar fan, the car looks amazing. Could Moose have a new competitor? Thanks for sharing the pix and comments!
