Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

RE: Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

Its going to be a show down between EAST and WEST, between octastars and 10 spokes. Red paint is going to be spilled ::roll:: .

RE: Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

Wow, your car looks great. Our cars may be twins, kind of. I have 255/50 monuted on those rims. And just today I snapped off a few LSC Spring Fever pics on webshots...please tell me how you like my LSC with the "summer" rubber back on. ( I ran Blizzaks WS-50, for winter traction here in Chicago, on other rims.)
Your wheels condition look better than mine. I can tell now I need to buff mine out a bit. Or something more?
I welcome any car comments, thanks...

Great post/comments/board/forum!
Thanks one and all, Best regards,

They do look like twins. :)

Nice albums BTW. You need to post some pics in your own thread to show off another fine example of a Mark VIII! :D

RE: Our 1997 Toreador red LSC--new wheels!

Thank-you driller, for calling my LSC a fine example of a Mark VIII. And really pleased you thought the albums are nice.... My Webshots page is fun for me too. The counter hits on the LSC albums blows away my other non Mark VIII albums. Thanks to LOD members.

I will be happy,(and proud) to find a few nice pics of my LSC to post in my own thread.
Thanks again...

LSCDriver, your car looks amazing. Isnt it funny how different digi-cams can make the car look like a different color?

anyway, yep...we will get fatter tires when these go bye-bye. They were brand spanking new 225/60 Michelin's when we bought the car last year, and as little as this car gets driven, I couldnt justify buying new tires until these get some use.

BlackIceLSC, first, thank you the kind words. Secondly the photos and backgrounds of yours are stunning. Great job, on the car and the pics. of course. The color changes on these digitals is funny. Using a flash can change the car's color even. (photography has been a constant learing experience.)

As far as your new, stock sized rubber sounds fine. The ride is better in my LSC with that size, vs the lower, fatter 50's. More or less sidewall height really makes a big difference on mine, as far as a overall "softer" ride. Being lowered, it's never really rides too soft, you know? Enjoy your ride,
