Sorry for the small photos.. only ones i could fine..Well i'm not sure if people remember the car, but i was at carisle a few years ago, when it was raining that whole weekend, but since the accident

i moved on to a little vw that handles pretty well...lol here is a picture..

the rest of my photos are too big.. but anyways i love this car.. now it can't beat a mark in the 1/4 mile ever... but put this car into a curve at high speeds and watch it just stick to the ground.. unreal handeling characteristics.
Sad to say this car is now totaled as well, but i'm fixing it up and putting it on the road soon, but i need another daily driver..

so this is the new adventure.. i fly into cali and drive to arizona to pick it up and drive back to ship it out to hawaii.. for two years i have been driving around in circles.. i finally get to strecth my legs.. well here is a couple of pictures

haha, the lodne traitor, yup that is me. I had the car on the island for around 8 months and coming home from the north shore one early morning, the area was having heavy rains and me and my lead foot had no tread left on the 20's in the rear lost it around a corner on the highway at the speed limit which is 55, hit the concrete median head on.
Why i love the mark, because i turned off the car and it started back up, put in reverse and park it on the side of the highway.. while waiting for the tow truck 4 different vehicles lost in that same corner and caused an accident. that was in a hour time period.. scary stuff. so i drove the car home, afriad that i would be the guy the wipe out next.
The front of the car was pushed back about 6 inches.. but to the day i gave the car away it still ran.

Me, i'm doing great.. loving the weather out here and enjoying the good life.. Can't wait to get my new toy.

thanks for the kind words driller and badsax.. though you guys still have a mark viii, thats what i admire. I would like to get one, but they are expensive here, and i'm always comparing the ones to sell to my car and then its never a fair contest.. Yeah this friday can't wait to get truck, it has air bags at the wheels as well..

its been ahwile since i looked but some 93 thru 96 non hid (i think thats the right term) cars have been going for around 6k.. which is to high, plus they aren't in top notch condition to be asking that type of price.. also high mileage..

I remember your car, she was beautiful! Glad you're doing good, and good luck with the new ride. Hope you do find another Mark that fits your budget and style.

Glad to hear everything worked out for you Joe. It would be pretty hard for me to forget your car being that a part of it still lives on with me...(albeit confined to a stationary position due to a blown tranny.) I guess you could say my car is constantly posing :)

hey kale.. i was wondering how your car was holding up, sorry to hear that your car is out of commission but hopefully not for long. Ha, i wouldn't say posing, because i bought those off of unstoppable.. so just passing down the chrome...lol You know what sucks though, i gave away my lincoln, because i just had no where to park it, living in condo paradise on hawaii.. it was rough.. the guy that took it off my hands, have no idea what he is got as for as mods for the mark viii..

but good news i leave today for cold arizona to pick up the new money pit..

I sure remember your car.I am a new member and saw a pic of your car and having a 94 with the same color.I loved your car.I have it as my background at home and work.What wheels did you put on it and what size rims and tires.I know they are 20's.Also what lowering system did you use.Hope you don't mind if I get similar rims?
