Pics of my car with my friend's 6spd Mark VIII...

Wow. That must be the first ever Mark VIII with a six speed. I really want to see more pics, and what was involved in the swap. Besides that cars look great.

I want to know a whole lot more about that 6 speed? I converted a 1978 Cutlass from Auto to a 4spd manual overdrive trans a few years back and I feel confident I could do any conversion if the parts are bolt up like the Cutlass was.

A 6 speed in my 93 would be awesome of even a 5 speed at that. Mustang parts I suppose?

I'm sure someone more knowledgable will speak up, but from what I've heard converting to a manual in our cars is mondo-headache and mucho dinero. There are only a few guys who have done this.

Only much dinero if you farm out all the work and buy top-of-the-line stuff.

If i buy another mark 8, the first mod will be a manual trans. My next fast car will have to have a manual.

I'm also very interested in the swap. I'm assuming a T-56 was used? What was done to make it fit? How is the clutch set up? Hydraulic or cable? what kind of clutch? How does it drive? What did he do with the ECU? I want pics!!!

Seriously, any info you can get on the swap would be appreciated. I've heard of T-45's going in these cars but not six speeds.

seems to be a fake. look at the bottom righthand corner...the center dash piece seems to be sitting in side the ricer....his screen name is AWD OWNZ U

Anyone tried contacting this d00d to get some info. Look at the pictures below....the above picture is OBVIOUSLY a fake.

I myself have had the grace of OWNING a T-56.... :)

I know it is a bit longer than the T-5 so maybe the shifter box extention wouldn't be necessary :)

Sleeper...you've seen this right?
