Let's see - I've bought parts from people on the board here, Summit, Jegs (I think), Dan Rotolante for exhaust (www.speedfreak.cc), Max at 5 star is where I get my stock stuff, chip from Lonnie at Blue Oval... check around, we have great vendors here. Oh and a few shiny things from UPR products.

Shane,
There are very few after-market speed parts for Marks due to
very low production numbers. You have to use Mustang Cobra and
T-Bird parts that cross-over.

And the fact that most Lincoln drivers are older folks who are not interested in going fast...not that anyone here is like that :)

New to the Mark VIII

I recently got a 1993 Lincon Mark VIII..Damn fine car for 500 bucks...The car is a quick car for its size and weight...I have only a few problems with it such as a leaky tranny been told 800 bucks will completely fix it and that is with a new torque converter if the old one is bad, When I first start the car and drive off the first time it will sputter and act like it is going to die out but if you let go of the pedel then hit o it hard it corrects itself...Damn antenna motor works but the antenna itself wont retract unless you get out and push it down a little then it catches on track and goes--67 bucks just for the mast....Front suspension was 1200 bucks to fix...But all in all a wonderful car...Couple of questions though...WEre can I find parts for this car such as performance parts and cosmetic parts besides the dealer???? Also if I were to race this sled against a 1995 Caddilac Sevielle with that Norstar engine who would win???

I Really like some of the things ive seen yall done with the mark VIII's..Guess Im gonna have to do the same seeing how comfortable this car is I think I aint going to be buying another car for a LONG TIME
