replacement HID low beam connector?

Okay, so I've got a replacement bulb, and it has the actual useful connector instead of the impossible pre-98 connectors that are on my car. Ideally I'd like to get a new connector to attach to my ballast pigtail and allow easy plugging, but I have no idea what specific connector it is. =( Does anyone have a part number or anything?

Also the problem is the driver-side HID bulb coming on strong and quickly dimming. If it turns out to be the ballast instead I may have to shoot myself in the head. :frown:

I think you will need to splice the wires or get a new ballast as nip the connecting locks.

Yeah, I guess I'm going to have to resign to splicing. This will piss me off if it's the ballast.

Take the connectors appart and re-pin them. The pins are the same in both style connectors.

I pretty much figured, so solder and splice it is. On the up side, the bulb works great!:wave022:

Now I just need to get the steering wheel off.. :frown:

Why not go to Radio Shack and buy a Molex connector? This way you can unplug them if that's important.

I'm replacing the apparently un-repairable signal/wiper stem control with one that has a working washer button.
