Hey. I'm new to this forum. I've got a 04 Mach 1. I ordered a intercooled vortech kit. Will this kit work on a Mark VIII? I've alway liked the mark and was thinking of buying one. I think the kit would be cooler on a mark 8. Thanks.
 
There are quite a few Vortech'd Mark VIII's. Not quite so many intercooled however due to various reasons, space being one of them.
 
Welcome :) Not sure, but I do not think the bracket for a mach kit will fit on a Mark VIII. You might want to check on that, as I do not know of anyone using a Vortech kit for a mach1 on a Mark VIII.

I am having a Vortech 99 Cobra kit and a custom made air to air intercooler installed on my 98 Mark VIII by Aric Carrion at Injected Engineering.

Sweet ride man. I was talking to the shop thats going to do my install. He said the the brakets were different, the mach throttle body comes straight out, where the cobra is at a 45 degree angle, like the mark 8. He wasn't sure about the fuel system or the fitment of the intercooler. He's done one Mark 8 before this and ordered a early mod cobra kit. He is trying to talk me out of getting rid of the Mach. I'm undecided. I have a buddy that bought a 95 mark and I love it. They are too different animals. I've already done up the suspension, exhaust, and all other bolt ons. Just tired of the payments. I'm torn. Wish I could have both. My buddy is buying a 96-98 LSC and his wife will have the 95.
