Neon tail lamp ballast

How hard is it to replace the ballast on the neon tail lamp? I'm really bad with anything electrical and splicing wires scares me...
 
Hehe, it should be VERY straight forward. 2 wires probably, with some mounting bolts for the ballast. The wires will be color coated so it should be a simple swap. If it makes you nervous, just do one wire at a time that way you don't mix them up. :D
 
Haha, yep :) The END of ONE WIRE to the END of the OTHER WIRE! Gotcha!

I just meant, if he cuts one wire off the old ballast and attaches it to the new wire before cutting off the other old wire, he won't get them mixed up.
