Finally got part of the interior update done

Yeah you have to pull the door panels and then CAREFULLY remove the little metal screw on nuts off the plastic bolts that are on the strip. Easiest way to remove that paint is to wipe it down with brake fluid for a day or so then soak it over night in soapy water, the stuff peels off then. Just sand ant paint, You cant really notice it but I also did the window switch panel and the mirror/memory/lock panel as well, just in black!

I've had these door panels off many times but, I never looked to see what holds those strips on.

I was always working on something else: door handle, door lock actuator, window regulator, etc.

I hate to bump an old topic, but what's the best way of removing the passenger air bag cover? For the steering wheel, would it be easier to buy a new one, or is it possible to re-color the stock one?
