"Posi", or NOT to "Posi?" That is the question.

OCCUPY LoD :)
So.......I'm trying to figure out if I should make my mower into a "posi" by welding the differential together. What do you guys think? The problem I'm having is that it looses traction VERY bad when I'm mowing the field because the tall weed grass is slippery when its ran over and flat. I want to get traction, but I don't want to have problems with the mower stalling instead of getting un-stuck.

Weld the diff....

Pros:
Better Traction
More Use of the Power
Faster Mowing because I won't keep getting stuck
Less Sunburn, haha

Cons:
Possible engine stalling instead of "one leg'n" it.
Turning issues because the rear wheels will push
Probably tear up the grass when turning
Might not be feasable depending on how the diff looks

Sexy :D

Yeah, thats kinda what I planned. I'm thinking I'll leave it alone because its probably just going to drive straight, haha. I have to re-weld some of the deck mounts because they broke off wednesday when I mowed again, so I thought I'd move to the back and mess around.

They are "kinda" knobby, I even lower the tire pressure to get traction, haha. Sounds sooo familiar.

Ok...this isn't to get "fat" or NOT to get "fat", haha. That would be "fat" for me, not you guys. :D

What do you guys think? Yea...or nea?
